Hardware Validation Practical Engineer or Technician
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining electronic circuit boards and components
- Deep understanding of electronic schematics, datasheets, and the overall flow of electronic circuits
- Electronics boards bring up
- Proof of Design (POD), develop and execute comprehensive test plans and procedures
- Integrations and problem-solving in the office and the field
- Conduct environmental stress and EMI and reliability testing on electronic hardware
- Analyze test data to identify defects, failures, and performance issues
- Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot and resolve validation issues
- Document test results and create detailed validation reports
- Design and validate system cables
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date test equipment and laboratory environment
- Stay current with industry standards and best practices for hardware validation
- Adhere to strict quality control standards and safety protocols
Desired Skills
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in hardware validation for multi-disciplinary systems
- Strong understanding of electronic components, circuits, and systems
- Proficiency in using electronic test equipment (soldering station, oscilloscope, multimeter, spectrum analyzer, etc.)
- Experience with environmental and reliability testing methodologies
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure
- Strong documentation and reporting skills
- Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance (if required)
